Two new awards launched: Digital Craft and Creative Data and a new Music section within Entertainment
eurobest, Europe’s leading creative Festival, has today announced that entries to the coveted eurobest awards are open.
Entries can be submitted between 1 - 29 September 2016 in the following categories: Creative Effectiveness, Design, Direct, Film, Film Craft, Healthcare, Innovation, Integrated, Interactive, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, PR, Print & Publishing, Print & Outdoor Craft, Promo & Activation and Radio. New categories - Digital Craft, Creative Data and a new Music section within Entertainment – have also been added to celebrate the breadth of creative excellence and reflect the evolving branded communications’ landscape.

The Presidents tasked with leading the jury panels to decide the very best work have also been announced.
They are: Direct President - Nicky Bullard, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, MRM-Meteorite; Interactive, Mobile and Digital Craft President - Cheyney Robinson, Chief Experience Officer, EMEA and APAC, Isobar; and Design President - Clive Rohald, Executive Creative Director, EMEA, Siegel + Gale. Verra Budimlija, Chief Strategy Officer, MEC, is President for Entertainment; Lucio Rufo, Executive Creative Director, R/GA London is President for Innovation & Creative Data.
Film Craft President Karim Bartoletti, Partner/Executive Producer, Indiana Production said, “I’m honoured to lead this year's Film Craft Jury to judge, analyse and award some of the best creative executional choices made in advertising in the last year."
President for Film, Print & Publishing and Print & Outdoor Craft, Bruno Bertelli, Global Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Worldwide, said, "I hope that together with my jury members, we will push these categories to new heights and set the direction for storytelling in creativity."
President of Outdoor & Radio - Jaime Mandelbaum, Europe Chief Creative Officer for Y&R, said, “I could not be more honoured to be the jury President of two disciplines that have stood the test of time and continue to evolve.”
Promo & Activation President - Caitlin Ryan, Executive Creative Director at Cheil, commented, “I am ecstatic about leading this jury. It is a category where the industry truly pushes itself to do new and innovative creative work.”
Anne de Schweinitz, Global Managing Director, Healthcare, Fleishman Hillard has been announced as the Healthcare President; Bertille Toledano, President at BETC Paris leads Creative Effectiveness and Iain Jacob, Chief Executive Officer EMEA, Publicis Media is this year’s Media President.
PR President Caterina Tonini, Vice President, Havas PR, said, “I would like to focus on the importance of PR in all communication strategies across both brand communications and corporate communications to highlight the key role it plays.”
eurobest, organised by Lions Festivals, will be held in Italy for the first time in 2016, hosted in its capital, Rome. The Festival, which will run from 30 November to 2 December, offers access to interactive workshops, lively discussions, curated seminars and networking events, as well as entry to the awards ceremony, where Europe’s brightest creatives will be rewarded with the coveted eurobest trophies.
