“Go beyond borders”, a new way to promote a tv channel

A mix between history and advertising

There was a time, Berlin was separated in two different parts, by the Berlin wall. This year, CNN wanted to create a promotion operation by redesign this wall with CNN red stickers all around the city of Berlin. Both German people and tourists could see these border on the street, and even in the underground. Some other stickers were appointed on the street, kinds of drawings, which remembered the 1989 year to people. In some of the drawings, codes were put on them, so you could recognize it with an Iphone, that gave you informations about history in Berlin. This operation’s aim was to not forget what happened in Berlin in the 1990’s, and to promote the famous cable network CNN.
