Half-time invaders are full-time warriors

How a basketball arena became a battlefield

The half-time show at an NBA match is always an eagerly awaited event. Recently, spectators at the clash between Oakland’s Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs were unexpectedly plunged into a combat between good and evil. Giant screens and the floor of the basketball court itself became part of an immersive experience as Kratos and Atreus, the heroes of the game God War, fought their enemies in an icy landscape. The sophisticated projection mapping experience was not only enjoyed by the 18,000 fans at the Oracle Arena, but by those watching on Facebook Live. Which means that the game is already winning the PR battle ahead of its release on April 20.
