Apotek Hjärtat, the Swedish pharmacy chain, has released a provocative anti-smoking campaign.

Remember the digital shampoo ad that featured hair blowing in the wind every time a train entered the station? Now the retail chain behind the award-winning billboard is back with an anti-smoking campaign that also deploys sensors and digital animation.
Installed in Stockholm Plaza, where folk often light up, it features a young man who coughs every time he catches a whiff of cigarette fumes, thanks to hidden smoke detectors. The ad carries the message: “We're the Swedish Pharmacy Hjärtat. Our mission is to help you live a longer and healthier life. That’s why I’m here, to help you adopt healthier habits in time for the new year.”
Perhaps it will encourage people to quit not just for the new year, but for good.
