Team Iceland Stopover campaign for Icelandair

Our latest campaign “Team Iceland Stopover” for Icelandair celebrates Iceland qualifying for the World Cup by encouraging passengers to soak up the country's atmosphere with 90-minute experiences co-created by the national team players.

Transatlantic airline Icelandair are launching a series of free experiences for all passengers to enjoy on a Team Iceland Stopover. In celebration of Iceland qualifying for the World Cup, Icelandair are encouraging passengers to soak up the country's atmosphere with an authentic experience and local insight into football culture with 90-minute experiences co-created by the national team players. It is the perfect opportunity to embrace the pride behind the team this summer.

On these experiences travellers will be provided with an Icelandair buddy, who will impart their local authentic knowledge, meaning passengers can gain a further understanding of the meaning and culture behind the experiences.

- A lot can be achieved in 90-minutes, both on and off the pitch, and Iceland Captain Aron Gunnarsson invites travellers to make the most of their time with a Team Iceland Stopover: Stopover in Iceland for up to seven days at no additional air fare.

- Travellers can gain a taste of the pride of the nation, with experiences tailored for everyone to enjoy.

- Passengers have an opportunity to encounter the breathtaking Icelandic landscape while getting into shape with ‘Train the Icelandic Way’, or can enjoy one of the geothermal pools as they ‘Relax like a Pro’.
