Angela Jones Joins Laundry Service As SVP/Head Of Strategy

Angela Jones has joined full service creative agency Laundry Service as SVP/Head of Strategy. She joins Laundry Service after seven years at Wieden + Kennedy. She will oversee the Laundry Service Strategy team across all clients and will be based out of the agency’s Portland office.

 

“We're honored to welcome Angela to our team. She brings decades of experience, a deep commitment to mentorship and learning, and a clear perspective on the role of strategy in the creative process,” said Jordan Fox, Head of Laundry Service. 

 

Throughout her career, Jones has worked with global blue chip clients to identify creative opportunities that give brands a meaningful role in culture. While at W+K Portland, she led award-winning, impactful campaigns for brands like Omen by HP, Secret Deodorant and TurboTax. She also spent time at 72andSunny, TBWA\Chiat\Day (where her team became Media Arts Lab) and Deutsch. Across her career, she’s led work for iconic brands like Apple, IKEA, Intel and Samsung. Jones also participated in W+K’s Equity Action Group, supporting internal affinity groups in their efforts to take action in and for their communities; this included a campaign promoting the Latinx vote.

 

“I look forward to bringing my 20+ years of brand building experience to Laundry Service – as my approach to strategy is all about defining strategic problems creatively, with an eye on how a brand can lead or challenge culture,” said Jones. “This approach is all about teeing up big creative opportunities for brands.
