Ogilvy celebrates 75th anniversary with a “Reunion of Giants”

 

Ogilvy is marking a milestone moment: its 75th anniversary. On September 23, 1948, David Ogilvy founded an agency in New York based on the belief that brands must be built through a culture of creativity, a deep understanding of the audience, and a constant encouragement of innovation. Over the past 75 years, Ogilvy has grown to become a global network recognized as the world’s most creative and effective agency via WARC’s 2023 Rankings, the ultimate benchmark for marketing.

To celebrate the occasion, Ogilvy is hosting a “Reunion of Giants” in offices around the world, bringing together talent and clients – past and present – who have contributed to the agency.

Devika Bulchandani, Global CEO of Ogilvy, said: “We want this moment to not only be a celebration of our company's achievements but also a gathering of the remarkable individuals who have contributed to its success over the years. Our talent and clients, past and present, are the true giants in our story – the events we are hosting around the world are meant to be a tribute to their invaluable contributions.”

Horacio Genolet, CEO of Ogilvy Latina, said: “Among many of the great lessons that David Ogilvy left us, there is a phrase that is as powerful as it is current: 'if each of us hires people bigger than us, we will become a company of giants.' That's why, on this 75th anniversary, we join worldwide in a 'Reunion of Giants' to toast to our people, our achievements, our clients, and for all that is yet to come.”

Across Latin America, the “Reunion of Giants” brought together teams from all markets to enjoy a variety of activities, sharing Ogilvy´s culture with the best of the past, present, and future.
