How would you describe what you do?
I lead and inspire people who make great work in all platforms.
How did you get into this job?
I banged on the door of every agency until someone let me in.
For my actual job now? I climbed a very long ladder.
What is most challenging about what you do?
Everyone wanting everything for nothing and everything yesterday.
What is most rewarding?
The work. The people. The awards.
What’s a typical work week like?
A different story every day.
What do you look for when booking directors and composers?
Craft. Quality. Difference.
Whats your best job/worst job?
Best job (aside from being a mum): watching my team take pride in their work and developing their skills.
Worst job: tricky conversations
What advice would you offer someone considering this career?
Dive right in and enjoy it. Remember that creativity and craft is what we do, so don't get pulled into being a 'yes' person.
Tell us something that most people don’t know about being a producer?
We are feeders.
Food is the key to getting people to do good work for you! (Amongst other things).
