What Car? is Britain’s leading source of car buying advice, and has been helping people purchase the right vehicles for their needs for more than 45 years.

The successful candidate will report to the managing editor and work directly with the reviews team, with the primary role of ensuring that online reviews are engaging, accurate, entertaining, optimised for SEO and generally produced to the highest possible standards.

You will make sure that copy is subbed and uploaded as it arrives from the reviewers, that photos, links and video content are added, and that all deadlines and embargoes are adhered to.

In addition, you will oversee the updating of review content as new variants are launched or new information becomes available, and will produce supporting content identified with the help of the SEO team.

If you are a highly organised team player who enjoys using your own initiative and has the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, punctual environment then we want to hear from you.

Some working outside of normal office hours will be required as and when, especially when copy is being filed from an event.

The right candidate needs to have perfect spelling and grammar, an excellent eye for detail, keen organisational skills and the ability to cross-check information from a variety of sources.
