Marketing Communications Coordinator

This junior position is responsible for directly supporting the marketing and communications team of a Jewish nonprofit in all aspects of their work, including content marketing, public relations, event marketing, and external communications.

Act as the point person for creation of newsletters and digital magazine, including liaising with all stakeholders and proactively curating content for future issues
 Create high quality first drafts of a variety of communications, including emails and social media posts
Understand and apply brand guidelines to existing content and materials
Maintain and update marketing toolkit and account credentials
Keep organizational websites and other communications channels updated and accurate
Maintain and post on social media accounts on a number of platforms
Create and distribute analytics reports
Ensure contracts are signed and invoices are paid

At least 1-2 years of full-time work experience (not counting internships)
 Bachelors degree, preferably in communications, English, marketing, journalism, or related field

 Experience with project management software (e.g. Hootsuite), content management systems (e.g. Wordpress), email marketing providers (e.g. Constant Contact, MailChimp)
 Basic experience with design software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
 Very strong writing, proofreading , and copy editing skills
 Detail oriented, highly organized, and excellent at time management
 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across organization with a wide variety of professionals and lay leaders
 Strong verbal communication skills
 Ability to take direction and learn quickly
 Proactive learner and a self-starter
 Familiarity with Judaism and the Jewish non-profit world
