Media spending on the assignment, which includes sister brands Pyrat rum and Ultimat vodka, totaled nearly $42 million last year. The incumbent, Cramer-Krasselt, did not defend the business.
McCann Erickson New York was named new creative lead for State Street Global Advisors. Lowe Campbell Ewald and Doremus were the other two finalists in the review. The Boston-based investment management marketer spent $45 million in measured media last year. The Gate Worldwide was the incumbent on the account.
After a lengthy review, AKQA is set to continue as lead digital agency for Audi. AKQA - Audi’s digital agency of record since 2011- beat out Huge and iCrossing to retain the business.
The final pitches in OppenheimerFunds' creative review were called off as the investment management service moved to award creative duties to MRM. The other finalists were Mullen and Wieden + Kennedy. OppenheimerFunds has an annual media spend of about $20 million. MRM will succeed Havas Worldwide in New York, which did not defend.
