For the first time ever, Cannes Lions award winning school Berghs School of Communication is launching an online education program fully in English. The program is named Berghs Certificate and targets active industry professionals who want to boost their careers.
Berghs School of Communication is one of the world’s top communication schools, producing some of the world’s finest talents in the field of communication. The School was awarded Future Lions School of Year two years in a row, 2009 and 2010, and the school’s students have produced campaigns like Don’t Tell Ashton, awarded Bronze in the Cyber category at Cannes Lions in 2011.
The new online education program Berghs Certificate targets active industry professionals who want to boost their careers and consists of 34 weeks of sessions, projects and team assignments held by international industry professionals.
– For the first time ever we’re really opening up the school for international students. This is as close as you’ll ever come to Berghs without having to be there physically. It feels great to finally be able to offer this kind of comprehensive educational program for international students, says Marco Ortolani.
The education program consists of two directions of study with different focuses, although many of the assignments and courses are integrated:
- Creative Certificate: Focuses on concept development, idea generation, dramaturgy, storytelling, and prototyping.
- Strategic Certificate: Focuses on communication strategy as well as managing projects and processes.
The two directions have some content in common, such as Creativity, Communication and Influence, Planning, and Innovation.
