AD STARS is now inviting creative professionals aged under-30 to apply to take part in the 2016 “New Stars AD competition" in Busan, Korea, which is a competition designed to help young creative professionals master the art of advertising.
New Stars also welcomes entries from creative teams who have less than three years’ industry experience. Around 30 teams from all over the world take part in the program every year.
“New Stars is a very valuable experience for young creative professionals who are looking to give their career a head start by learning from the industry’s top ECDs.
We host side events including a networking party so that participants can build global friendships with those from all over the world. Every New Stars team will also have the opportunity to network with renowned creatives,” says Euija Lee, Co-chairperson of the AD STARS Executive Committee.
The next New Stars AD competition will take place from 24th to 27th August as part of the 9th annual AD STARS festival, which is Asia’s fastest growing advertising awards show.
To enter, simply submit your entry as part of a team of two (your team member doesn’t need to work at the same company as you).
It costs KRW1,000,000 per person to enter New Stars, however accommodation and meals (except lunch) will be covered by AD STARS. New Stars teams are also invited to attend AD STARS seminars, as well as the AD STARS awards on the night of 27th August, plus networking events and parties.
The top five teams who create the best campaigns will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze.
To become a New Star of 2016, simply submit your application before 31st May. After the event, you’ll also enjoy networking opportunities such as international cultural exchanges, a preview of winning works, seminars with international ad experts, and a farewell scheduled on the morning of 28th August 2016.
