Comcast has hired New York-based agency SS+K to focus on marketing the company's Internet Essentials program. Internet Essentials is a four-year-old program that supplies broadband Internet access to low-income families.
SS+K won the assignment after a pitch against two other unknown agencies. The agency will work on traditional and digital ads, social media marketing and events, with the first campaign slated for the fall.
Comcast and SS+K did not disclose media spending.
