Best Buy announced on Tuesday that it will no longer use a single advertising agency. Crispin Porter + Bogusky, who has been Best Buy's AOR since 2008, will no longer be the retailers main agency. The company will begin to hire agencies on a project basis, and do more work on its own.
Best Buy joins a growing number of companies that have shed the traditional AOR model. Cutting costs and tapping in on creativity are a few of the reasons behind the company's decision.
