David Miami Hires Luiza Prata Carvalho As Head of Account

One of the world's most awarded executives, she was formerly in charge of the Nike and the Uber accounts with W + K Portland; now she heads DAVID Miami's client service, strengthening the agency's U.S. team

DAVID Miami announces yet another important new hiring: talented leader Luiza Prata Carvalho. She takes the reigns as Head of Account, leading client service operations for the entire agency following six years with W+K Portland. Besides Burger King, DAVID Miami works for Budweiser, Bud Zero, Corona, Danone (Two Good and Activia), Mondeléz (Halls, Sour Patch Kids), and Coca-Cola. 

Luiza Prata Carvalho has worked as Brand Director for Nike and Uber at W+K Portland. Before then, she worked at Ogilvy Paris from 2013 to 2015. She has also served a number of Unilever brands, such as Dove and Hellmann's, while at Ogilvy São Paulo. 

Throughout her career, Luiza has played an active role in hallmark brand projects and has won more than 50 awards including the Grand Prix and several Lions at Cannes, a Black Pencil at D&AD and an Emmy for "outstanding commercial”. Among the prominent campaigns she developed are “The Switch,” “Serena Williams Unlimited Greatness,” “Time Is Precious,” “AF1 Baltimore,” “Dream Crazy” and “Dream Crazier,” all created for Nike (W + K) as well as “Recipe Receipt” for Hellman's (Ogilvy SP).
