Derby Expands Roster with Directing, Shooting & Editing Duo, The Bozzwicks

Creative production company Derby announced that it has signed live action directing, shooting and editing team Michael Bozzo and Justine Warwick to its roster.

Known as The Bozzwicks, the duo has created highly successful branded content, documentaries, and commercial work for brands, networks and agencies across mediums. They’ve built an impressive body of work in the sports category for brands like HBO, Showtime, NBC Sports, and Sports Illustrated. It’s from this experience that they’ve honed their ability to discover and bring the larger stories behind the games to life - the challenges, the triumphs, the failures and the drama. This passion for authentic, emotionally driven storytelling has fueled their creative approach in many categories with highly successful work for brands including Delta, Red Bull, NBC, Discovery Channel, History Channel, T-Brand, Epix, Beyonce, David Yurman and Yuengling.

Director and cinematographer Michael Bozzo developed his skills as a Director of Photography while traveling the globe capturing unique and breathtaking visuals from some of the most remote locations on Earth. Director and editor Justine Warwick cultivated her command of storytelling over the past 17 years in cutting rooms large and small exploring the nuance of varying narratives within feature films, documentaries, sports features and commercials.

The Bozzwicks join Derby from Big Block, where they worked with Derby Executive Producer Mary Crosse. While there, The Bozzwicks and Crosse collaborated on a long form documentary brand video for Yuengling, featuring a beautiful and cinematic story of the family and the brewery.

Following the recent signing of acclaimed director Andrew Hardaway, The Bozzwicks join Derby’s roster of modern storytellers, which includes award-winning directors Lucas Borrás and Nickolas Duarte. Since its launch last fall, Derby has produced campaigns with agency partners and brands including General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, S’well, Blistex, NestlePurina, Jim Beam Brands, Erno Laszlo and more.
