Fold7 poaches Paul Howarth from VCCP Blue to boost client services department

Fold7 has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Paul Howarth to the role of business director.

Howarth joins Fold7 from VCCP Blue, where he was a group account director. He will report to Harry Sheward, managing partner at Fold7, and focus on strengthening the agency’s client service offering.

His direct responsibilities will include leading the account and working on new-business opportunities as Fold7 looks to broaden its client base.

During his time at VCCP Blue, Howarth ran the agency’s business, working on the ‘Baby Oleg’ phase of the ‘Meerkat’ campaign, overseeing and expanding the communications programme including Coronation Street sponsorship and branded content.

Howarth’s previous agency experience includes working as the Global Business Director at Publicis on the Malibu account and as an account director at BMP DDB on Marmite and Volkswagen. He also spent time as a group account director at Agency Inc and as associate director at Lowe & Partners on Unilever’s Flora account.
