If you were thinking of planning a trip to Amsterdam, take into consideration October 6th. That night, the most exciting Amsterdam creative agencies simultaneously open their doors to the public. During ADNIGHT ‘the ultimate kitchen review’ people can literally peek into the kitchens of the creative hot spots they’ve been curious about - and participate in workshops, see talks, get a tour, see the work and meet the people.
The Amsterdam creative industry is buzzing. New specialty agencies pop up like mushrooms and International companies open up their European HQs in the city known for it’s very well designed and innovative award winning work. Sadly, most of these exciting activities are happening behind closed doors. ADNIGHT changes this by opening up fifty agencies for curious marketers, students and creative folk.
ADNIGHT is an initiative of five friends working in the industry (Claire Daemen, Denise Willigers, Dirk Jan de Krom, Rose Zandvliet & Wybe Sallows) who aim to bring more transparency and knowledge sharing in the creative industry.
A diverse line up
The ADNIGHT line up is created to reflect the diversity of the Amsterdam creative scene; with national and international companies, full service and boutique agencies, specialty shops when it comes to PR, innovation, design, social and ofa course production companies that create stellar film, music and digital pieces.
Participating agencies don’t just open their doors, they organize something that reflects their DNA and way of working. Getting to know agencies in such a casual way helps ADNIGHT visitors find their new agency of record or new employer, or just have a fun night out. Last year, the first edition of ADNIGHT saw inspiring talks, heated discussions, a roller disco, office lasertag, an interactive session with a big movie directors, an office turned into a snack drive thru and AR tattoos.
ADNIGHT passe partouts
This year ADNIGHT takes place on October 6th. With an ADNIGHT passe partout all participating agencies (or as many as you can fit into one night) can be visited from 6pm until midnight. And, because there’s really only one way to end an advertising event in Amsterdam, the official afterparty takes place from 11pm until 5am. Here ADNIGHT visitors can come together after a night of inspiration to exchange their fresh insights or just dance/network the rest of the night away. Entrance tickets are only sold in combination with a ADNIGHT passe partout available on adnight.nl.
