After winning the account for “Welt am Sonntag”, Germany’s biggest premium Sunday newspaper, GREY Berlin can now announce the agency’s first international account. The new Berlin office has the Europe-wide lead for the launch campaign of the 4K video camera Panasonic HX-A500. This newly developed product provides the highest resolution in the wearable camcorder category and a new wearing concept.
The campaign with its claim “There is a new perspective on everything” starts with a product film followed by several episodes in social media, print ads and POS. The product will be launched June.
The introducing product film features unusual testimonials: Big-Foot-like creatures test the new Panasonic camcorder in their “everyday lives”.
Managing Director Matthias Meusel, head of GREY Berlin together with Creative Managing Director Oliver Handlos, said: “We are happy to support Panasonic Marketing Europe with the introduction of such an innovative product.” Oliver Handlos added: “We consciously wanted to stay away from the ubiquitous presentations of other manufacturers in the action camera world, because the product concept of Panasonic opens up completely new possible uses and perspectives.”
