Hometown lands £3m Powwownow Advertising Account

Powwownow, the UK’s leading free conference call service provider has handed its UK advertising account to Hometown ahead of a major ad push.

Hometown won the business following a competitive pitch against two undisclosed agencies. The campaign, set to start in January 2015, will focus on their free (no fuss) conference call service. It will include outdoor, radio, digital media and various real world activities. In previous years the brand has targeted commuters on the London Underground with work designed to be challenging.

In recent years the brand has faced renewed competition from various app based services as well as native technology on smart phones. However, Powwownow is still Europe’s fastest growing free conference call service provider and operates in 15 countries including the UK, US and major European markets.
