INDIE and Tele2 were awarded a Silver Effie in the Brand Campaign category. The crowning glory for their work on the multi-year platform “Not Because You Have To. But Because You Can.” This ongoing platform turned the Tele2 brand from a cheap skate into a value champion. And one of the top 4 telecom brands in the Netherlands with 1.1 million clients and counting. All in less then 4 years time.
A big up for all the hard work in the past, but also an extra motivation for both parties to get even more out of this collaboration in the future.
The awards were announced last night during the annual Dutch Effies Awards Gala in Amsterdam. Winning an Effie Award is one of the highest honors in the marketing and advertising industries. The Effie Awards recognize marketing ideas that contribute significantly to a brand’s success.
