Investors Group, a Canadian provider of financial planning products and services, selected DDB Canada as its marketing communications partner. DDB Canada's Toronto office will lead the account. Y&R Saint-Jacque Vallee previously handled the account. As its first assignment, the agency has been tasked with brand strengthening - elevating Investor Group's expertise in helping Canadian families plan for the future by providing financial planning, products and services. DDB Canada was awarded the work following a competitive pitch process involving 20 agencies from across Canada. New work is expected to launch in early 2015.
The T. Marzetti Company named Smith Brothers as lead creative agency for several Marzetti brands. The agency will handle branding and marketing efforts for Marzetti's Dressings, Dips and Salad Toppers as well as Sister Schubert's frozen rolls and Reame's Pasta. Additionally, Smith Brothers will handle Marzetti's New York Brand of frozen garlic bread, garlic knots and Texas Toast.
