Orcí, known nationwide as a leader in Hispanic marketing and advertising, recently hired Javier Güemes as its Creative Director and Lois Mosgrove as Group Account Director. The new hire announcements come on the tails of broader expansion efforts on the part of the full-service multicultural agency based in Santa Monica.
“With Javier and Lois onboard, we’re ready to take on 2018 and beyond,” said Andrew Orcí, CEO. “Both are experienced professionals with a savvy understanding of the U.S. Hispanic market and considerable know-how when it comes to positioning brands for success.”
Bringing with him three decades of experience as a Creative Director in the marketing and advertising realm, as well as countless awards and accolades, Javier said he is thrilled to join the “band.”
“Orcí has driven vital change in this industry since its founding by Hector and Norma in the mid-80s, and it feels great to be a part of the family. They have truly embraced me, and I look forward to continuing our collaboration to generate great, new ideas for our current clients, as well as those yet to come.”
Previously, Javier served as the Executive Creative Director for Dieste, Inc., where he built creative teams from the ground up, and as Group Creative Director for Ogilvy & Mather.
Similarly, Lois has more than 20 years of experience in both U.S. and Latino markets, across a variety of brands, product categories and retail channels. She referred to the agency as a family, and expressed her eagerness to be officially on board: “I look forward to sharing my points of view and passion for culture with a team as experienced as Orcí’s, while continuing the firm’s track record when it comes to successful projects and happy clients.” Before joining Orcí, she held positions as Account Director at Casanova//McCann, Háblame and Sensis, and was also the VP of Marketing for Todobebé.
