Ahsan Kahlon has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of M&C Saatchi Abu Dhabi.
Kahlon resigned his position as Worldwide Account Director on automotive brand Jaguar at its agency Spark44, to take the role, based in M&C Saatchi’s new Abu Dhabi office.
Kahlon has been responsible for the strategic development of Jaguar's Global advertising for three years, initially at Euro RSCG, during which time the car brand has gone from strength to strength, unveiling a new look and successfully launching three new models.
A lawyer by training, Kahlon previously worked as Vice President, Business Development, for a private equity firm Conektas, with responsibilities across MENA and South Asia. He launched a number of successful start-ups in the Middle East, with contracts worth over US$2billion.
Ahsan Kahlon, who grew up in Saudi Arabia, is a graduate of the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, Washington DC and started his career at McCann-Erickson, New York. He also worked at Whybin/TBWA in Sydney and set up his own Talent Management Agency in London.
M&C Saatchi won the global advertising account of Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates in April 2012. Set up to service Etihad, Air Seychelles and a number of other subsidiaries and partners of Etihad Airways, the office in Abu Dhabi is a full-service agency with a staff of 20. M&C Saatchi Abu Dhabi has also won work from Image Nation, one of the world's leading feature film producers, to re-launch the Arab Film School across the GCC.
