On 14th June 160 media industry leaders will gather at lively London hotspot, Sway in Holborn, to test their mettle in a quiz event to raise money for The Mix; a multi-channel help service providing essential support for under 25s in the UK.

Hosted by Rory McGrath, teams will go head-to-head to raise as much as possible to support The Mix (a newly merged charity between established youth charities YouthNet and Get Connected).

Sponsored by media marketing and digital agencies m/SIX and Rocket Fuel, Get Qu?zzical is the fourth annual media quiz to bring together VIPs from top creative agencies, news outlets and communication specialists including Facebook, Yahoo, TalkTalk, Adloox, CHI & Partners, Kenshoo and News UK.

Every penny raised at the Get Qu?zzical will be donated to the The Mix – which aims to reach over 2 million young people each year with issues as far ranging as homelessness, eating disorders, drug abuse and exam stress. The Mix combines helplines support with digital services to create the UK’s largest help service for young people through online, webchat, telephone, live chats, email and counselling.

Jess Burley, CEO at m/SIX and The Mix Trustee, says: “I am delighted that after 4 years this fantastic charity quiz night supported by m/SIX and the media industry is still going strong and that to date we have raised a phenomenal £180,000 for The Mix. We hope that tomorrow’s fundraising efforts will see us reach that quarter of a million target so that together we can continue to support thousands more young people in need.”

Andy McNab, UK Managing Director at Rocket Fuel says: “Rocket Fuel support The Mix because of the valuable work they do to help young people in need and how they support them through troublesome times. Jess Burley and her team at m/SIX have done a great job at supporting The Mix and this is a great way for Rocket Fuel to help be contribute to raising funds for such a deserving charity. This will be the second year Rocket Fuel has sponsored Get Quizzical, it is a really fun evening and we look forward to raising lots of money.”

Chris Martin, CEO at The Mix says “The annual Get Qu?zzical is a fantastic event –one that helps The Mix to take another big step towards reaching 2 million young people in 2016 – that’s 1 in 4 of the UK’s 16-25 year olds. Our special thanks goes to our Charity Partner m/SIX and our lead sponsor Rocket Fuel - without whom this great event would not have been possible. We hope everyone has a fantastic evening”.
