Organic Appoints Danielle Sherman as Director of People and Culture

Award-winning HR executive hired to continue amplifying people-first culture and support DE&I initiatives

Digital agency Organic, today announced the appointment of its new Director of People and Culture, Danielle Sherman. She will serve as a member of Organic’s female-led leadership team, reporting directly to CEO, Cathy Butler. 

 

Danielle brings 13 years of experience to the role, having climbed the ranks at Barbarian, from Manager of HR and Talent to Director of People & Culture. During her tenure at Barbarian, she led the agency to be 3%-certified, following a comprehensive review of company culture, policies and work. She increased representation to nearly 50% diverse employees. At Organic, she will bolster the already impressive EQ-focused training the organization offers. Danielle also brings an understanding of client services to this role, having served as an Account Executive at Sudler & Hennessey.

As Director of People and Culture, Danielle will focus on the employee experience. She will serve as an employee advocate supporting the team with always-on, proactive feedback programs. She will work to implement best practices from progressive industries to ensure that all Organic employees feel seen, represented and empowered. Danielle’s charge is to bring the agency’s mission to life, by ensuring a best-in-class employee experience that reflects the diversity of the world at large.

Danielle graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She is a frequent volunteer, who recently aided 'Get out the Vote' efforts in swing states.
