Save the Children has selected SapientNitro to handle a new brief focused on redefining the charity’s use of digital platforms and marketing.
SapientNitro, which won the business following a competitive pitch against DigitasLBi, Havas and Blue State Digital, will provide Save the Children with a long-term digital strategy to re-envision the way supporters engage with the world’s leading independent children’s charity.
The agency will develop a digital strategy encompassing Save the Children’s global digital marketing, digital platforms and technology, and its organisational structure. Part of SapientNitro’s brief is to identify and recommend a suitable global technology platform for the charity.
Sue Allchurch, Director of Marketing and Communications at Save the Children, said: “SapientNitro demonstrated its ability to define and deliver great supporter experience together with a strong understanding of marketing communications, technology and business change.”
Nigel Vaz, SVP and European Managing Director at SapientNitro, said: “The focus of our work is to ensure the digital vision supports the evolving needs of the organisation and recognises the changing digital landscape and supporter needs, while positioning Save The Children as best-in-class and embracing all the changing technological opportunities.”
Save the Children, http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/, works in more than 120 countries to save the lives of children and fight for their rights. It campaigns under the “No Child Born to Die” banner.
