At Absolute Radio, Chris currently oversees the Christian O’Connell breakfast show and has led it to record audience figures. In his three years there, he’s also been responsible for launching the Jason Manford show and producing the station’s Isle of Wight coverage. Chris is also the co-creator and producer of one of the UK’s most successful podcasts, The Bugle.

Chris Skinner said, “I’m delighted to be joining Somethin’ Else at a time when there’s so much change in the media world. The amount of opportunity is exciting and it’s great to be joining the company at a time of fast growth”.

Steve Ackerman, Managing Director, Somethin’ Else, said, “Chris is a highly creative talent who will be a strong asset to our team for our current productions and as we prepare for the new commissioning opportunities at the BBC and beyond.
