- Starcom USA tapped Jens Welin as executive vice president/managing director, where he relocate to the company’s headquarters in Chicago from Sweden, where he was most recently global growth director for Starcom MediaVest Group EMEA. He will lead the agency’s Best Buy and Beam Inc. accounts and will report to Starcom USA CEO Lisa Donohue, and serve as a member of the agency’s management board.
- CP+B promoted Steve Erich from partner/managing director to president. In addition, Mike Saunter joined the agency as chief operating officer and Jeff Steinhour, one of the original four partners, has moved to the role of vice chairman.
- Michael Kutschinski was named global chief creative officer of OgilvyOne Worldwide. He most recently ran the creative department of OgilvyOne Germany and was responsible for the creative quality of the OgilvyOne EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
