Toronto, ON, June 29, 2015 - The growth at Thinkingbox continues as Christopher Halminen is appointed the new Creative Director in their Toronto office. While Thinkingbox already has a staff of art directors and designers in Vancouver, Halminen is the first to hold a creative position on the East Coast. “Christopher’s hire is just the start for our intended growth here at Thinkingbox,” says Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Amir Sahba. “As a company, we strive to continuously grow our team vertically and competencies laterally. Expanding creative roles to our Toronto office will continue to up our game and bolster a lot of the strength we already have.” Having started his career in digital marketing over 15 years ago, Halminen was fortunate enough to learn from early adopters who instilled in him the need to stay relevant and on- trend in the ever evolving space. In 2000, Halminen was the Art Director at MacLaren McCann before leaving that role to become Senior Art Director at Critical Mass in 2007. In 2011 he left Critical Mass to join OgilvyOne as the Associate Creative Director, helping lead Tim Hortons’ and AMEX Canada’s digital accounts. Working alongside Troy Graham, the Creative Director in Vancouver, Halminen will bring in fresh ideas that will help take Thinkingbox to new heights and is also tasked with overseeing the growth of the Toronto operation. “Part of the strength of the company is having the different offices unified so we can capitalize on talents across the country” says Graham. “It isn’t just about the work, it’s about building client relationships, building the company, and sharpening pitch and creative strategy. It’s a big job, and one Christopher is well-suited for.”  About Thinkingbox: Thinkingbox is a fully-integrated digital production house specializing in interactive solutions across the three pillars of digital development, content creation, and experiential activations.
