Xavier Beauregard, Executive Creative Director of Leo Burnett France, discusses his career, Cannes Lions, and the state of French creativity

Xavier Beauregard’s journey in advertising began as an art director at Leo Burnett Paris in 1996, followed by productive years at BDDP et Fils, TBWA Paris, JWT Paris, and FCB Paris – experiences that allowed Beauregard to hone his creative advertising acumen working for a variety of brands from BMW to Microsoft. After working as vice president and executive creative director for FCB for nearly three years, Beauregard joined Leo Burnett Paris in 2012 as vice president and executive creative director. Beauregard has won numerous Grand Prix and other awards, and was gracious enough to sit down to discuss creativity in France, the unique French sensibility, and his experiences with Leo Burnett as well as his vision for the agency’s future.
