About me

David Droga is an Australian advertising executive and the founder of the advertising agency Droga5. He was born on May 19, 1968, in Sydney, Australia.

Droga began his advertising career at age 22 as a copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi in Singapore. He later worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in London, where he became the agency's youngest-ever executive creative director at age 29.

In 2003, Droga moved to New York City to become the executive creative director of Publicis New York. He left Publicis in 2006 to start his own agency, Droga5.

Under Droga's leadership, Droga5 has become one of the most innovative and awarded advertising agencies in the world. The agency has worked with clients such as Google, Coca-Cola, Under Armour, and The New York Times, among others.


Droga5 was acquired by Accenture Interactive in 2019 and David was named CEO of Accenture Interactive in August 2021.

Droga has received numerous awards for his work in advertising, including being named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2010. He has also been inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame.

In addition to his work in advertising, Droga is a founding board member of the New York City-based non-profit organization Pencils of Promise, which builds schools and provides education for children in developing countries.
