Pernambucano, director and partner of Paranoid producer, Heitor Dhalia already in his first feature film, Nina (2004), won a special mention in the criticism of Moscow Festival and the photography award at the Latin American Film Festival of Lima.
In 2006, directed the film Drained , who attended the official selection of the Sundance Film Festival, won the special jury prize, the prize of criticism and the best actor in Rio Festival and also the Paulista Trophy Flag international jury at the 30th International Exhibition of São Paulo.
With Adrift (2009), Dhalia attended the show Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Festival the same year. In 2011, he signed the direction of Gone Hollywood production, starring Amanda Seyfried.
His last feature film was national Serra Pelada , which opened in the fall of 2013. In addition to director, Dhalia, next to Vera Egypt, was also responsible for the screenplay that has Juliano Cazarré, Julio Andrade, Wagner Moura, Sophie Charlotte and Matheus Nachtergaele in the cast.
