David (Dave) Roses is an eclectic and multi award—winning music composer who has focused in the advertising field along last ten years.
He has written and produced music for Coca-Cola, Audi, BMW, Pepsico, Adidas, United Nations, Schweppes, Diesel, Movistar, Amnesty International, Nespresso, Nike, and Volkswagen, among other brands.
His work has helped to achieve more than 100 international advertising awards like Cannes CyberLions, New York Festivals, British D&AD, FIAP (including Grand Prix for Puma), UK Buzz Awards, Art Director's Club of Europe, LIAA, New York One Show Club, LAUS (including Grand Prix for BMW) and El Sol.
Dave is also widening his career on audiovisual projects non related with the Ad industry, like TV shows, documentaries and video games, but specially in scoring and producing music for Cinema.
His approach to film composition is not only based on his strong musicality, but also on his understanding of Cinema, which allows him to intimately communicate with directors. His past experience screen-writting more than a hundred commercial films as a Creative Director working in first line advertising agencies like Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy Group or Foote Cone & Belding, provided him with a very strong cinematic sense of storytelling.
David has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and studied classic piano at the Liceu Conservatory of Barcelona. He has also given classes as an University Professor at "Music in the audiovisual language" sessions, into the Master's Degree in Communication (Ramon Llull University).
