Story | “Scalpel,” orders the surgeon in an operating theatre. Then he lowers his mask. It’s actor Alan Alda, or “Hawkeye” from the TV show MASH. “I’ve no idea what I’m doing,” he confides to camera. “I’m just a TV doctor.” Beside him, Patrick Dempsey from Grey’s Anatomy adds: “I never went to college.” Various other TV doctors admit that they hate blood and can’t tell a X-rayed foot from an elbow. But as “The TV Doctors of America”, they’re partnering with insurer Cigna to encourage viewers to get a regular check-up. |
