Story | Domestic violence is a significant problem in New Zealand, and it's believed only 20% of cases are reported. Shine (Safer Homes In Nz Everyday) wanted to remind people that domestic abuse can escalate when alcohol is involved. We created thermochromic ink beer coasters. Once a cold beer is placed on it, the impact creates a bruise on the victim. We encouraged people to speak up if they knew of any domestic violence.
