About me

Bec helps clever companies be commercially smarter with gender and realise the market value of women. Women's economic influence has changed the world. They are a powerful workforce asset and their economic strength leads to transformative bottom line growth to your business. Women are worth $28 of the $35 trillion dollar global consumer economy.

A pioneer and innovator of understanding smarter ways to market to the female consumer, she will make diagnoses, develop segmentation strategies and create solutions to help your business capture and future-proof its share of the enormously influential female market.

With over 25 years experience in the communications industry, Bec was one of 3% of females to become a Creative Director and 0.1% of women that start their own agency. Her agency Venus has been successfully running for more than a decade.

In 2016 Bec launched a consultancy bringing her years of developed IP to help businesses unlock and leverage their future potential with women within the workforce and with the female economy.

Engage Bec to mentor, partner and facilitate your team:
• auditing your opportunity with the female market
• identifying if your company has a male/female bias and how to manage this for positive outcomes
• how gender segmentation plays a role in better marketing ROI
• strategic product and service solutions for the female market
• social media/content strategy and development for female audience

Bec also delivers keynotes, locally and internationally, on marketing to women, the power of the female economy, and leveraging your brand.

Bec Brideson Consulting

Bec brings her unique experience and insights to market to help business and brands capitalise and leverage the changing economic shift and biggest opportunity for growth in market. Bec has 25 years experience in the communications industry. Having pioneered in the marketing to women space for the last 13 years she understand what makes women tick and click as consumers and how to recognise and mobilise their full potential as employees.

Women are the largest and most powerful global consumer economy and they can make or break your business. Their household discretionary influence will reach 75% by 2028 - women are a massive financial opportunity. Gender balanced workforces are up to 40% more profitable ( and better for the economy).

Understanding women outside your business means creating a culture that also understands women inside your business. Men and women need to level-up and uncover the deep blind spots that have manifested over past centuries of seeing life through a traditional/male lens.

Originally a fully independent boutique agency, the experience at Cummins and Partners turned into four years of hard core "indi-agency start-up" training. This coal face exposure included rapid agency growth, reporting to Directors and managing all levels of personnel. Inevitably it became the experience and training that would lead to my own new agency model at Venus.
Over time this agency won pitch after pitch, proving a strong local offering with great strategy was a viable contender amongst multinationals. From the Australian inception and launch of Virgin Blue, several Emirates international routes to the rebranding of Connex trains - it was literally planes, trains and automobiles, Winning automotive accounts with the launch of the Kia Carnival and brand range work, later with GMH on Holden Cruze, and Barina.
A revival of share of voice on shelf for Nestle yoghurts and FMCG strategic positioining on Novartis Consumer Health with products like Benefibre, Jarrah and Ultra Slim. Brand work and business innovation on Clarks shoes and cosmetics on Australis brand relaunch and Le Tan.This era was a baptism by fire through the changes to regulations with utilities like United and telcos such as Primus Telecom.
