Story The film begins in the black night around a hollywoodian style villa, in an Hitchcokstyle atmosphere. The camera enters slowly into the house, goes at the first floor. A man is lying on the bed, a red mark on his chest. We seethe "Flat TV" Philips on the celling, where it's written "The end". He stands up in order to change the disk and its new DVD Philips player...the man we believed dead was taken up by his film, and was eating french fries...with ketchup!
Story (original language) Le film démarre dans la nuit noire autour d'une villa de style hollywoodienne, dans une atmosphère à la Hitchcock. La caméra subjective entre lentement dans la maison, monte à l'étage. Un homme gît sur le lit, une tâche rouge sur la poitrine. On aperçoit le "Flat TV" Philips au plafond de la chambre où est inscrit "The end". L'ambiance est tendue. Il se redresse pour changer le disque et son nouveau lecteur DVD Philips...l'homme que l'on croyait mort était absorbé par son film et en train de manger des frites...au ketchup!
Philosophy EURO RSCG WORKS won in 1999 a bronze lion for Philips Consumer Electronics, Incredible Sound, for the film "the neighbours", at the international advertising festival of Cannes. After "Flat TV" fro Philips success, EURO RSCG WORKS launched in october 2000, a new international advertising sport for DVD Philips, that reinforces its leadership in the home cinema market, pulled by the DVD locomotive whose sales boom litteraly in this end of year 2000 (300% of increase).

Après le succès du spot "Flat TV" de Philips, EURO RSCG WORKS a lancé, à partir de mi-octobre 2000, un nouveau film publicitaire international pour le DVD Philips, qui renforce son leadership sur le marché du home cinéma, tiré par la locomotive DVD dont les ventes explosent littéralement en cette fin d'année 2000 (300% de progression).
Problem Philips DVD, Home Cinema to die for... with a hint at the "Flat TV" commercial, the new Philips spot is there to remind us that Philips offers the best conditions to watch movies giving you cinema experience.
