Story | If the current fishing regulations aren't drastically improved, in 2022 Europe's fish stocks will be overfished. On November, 20th, EU politicians will set the rules governing european fishing policies for the next ten years. The WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature, wants reforms for a respectful and sustainable treatment of the fishing resources. For this, we launched on behalf of WWF Germany a campaign, to create political action through social media. A film and a microsite activate the users to reach out to all politicians and sign a petition to Ilse Aigner, the german federal secretary of fishing. The campaign will be rolled out to multiple countries, to reach all responsible politicians in the European Union. The users become part of the swarm. We create change through Social Media.
