I work in advertising, but I try to create ideas that won't be perceived like an ad or paid by a brand. I love to explore new ways to connect with people. I am a storyteller, a writer, a strategic mind, a creator of connections between people's hearts and the things they want. I love to learn from others.
As one of the few women leading the creative department of an agency, she has worked fortop brands such as Coca-Cola (CC, ZERO, Fanta), Calvo, Lotteries, Campofrio and, more recently, Ikea.
On the list of Top Talent of the Big Won creative ranking, she won more than one hundred awards in major national and international advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions, One Show, London IA, NY Festivals, and her most outstanding works have been included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art Reina Sofía.
Under her leadership, McCann became the only Spanish company among the top 20 agencies on the Gunn Report. It has been named Agency of the Year on numerous occasions and is always among the most awarded agencies in the country. Perhaps that is the reason why it was also chosen Best Place to Work 2016.
Mónica is part of the Creative Leadership Collective (CLC), the worldwide creative board of McCann, and has been jury at Cannes Lions, Clio, London IA, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP and El Sol, among others.
