Summary

Ben has become the youngest and most recent director to join the highly regarded Cherub Pictures film production company, alongside fellow members including Andrew Dominik and Cate Shortland. As the creator of music videos, short films, video installations and commercials Ben has been recognised as a director who has a firm grasp on multiple visual language styles and techniques. Ben is also a writer, editor, trained FX compositor and digital colour grader.

Ben is a 27-year-old filmmaker who impressed the radically well-credentialed judges (which included Abbie Cornish and the Edgerton bro?s) at the ONE80PROJECT with his pilot for a part narrative, part free-form documentary. His win gave him the funds to produce the 50-minute film Hammer Bay. Ben is currently part of the inspirational Sydney-based collective Cherub Pictures, home to eight of Australia?s most compelling directorial talents.
