Luis Tauffer is a multi-disciplinary Creative Director with more than 21 years of experience working on major networks across different continents, at agencies like DDB Brazil, DDB&Co Istanbul, BBDO Moscow, Proximity BBDO Paris, Y&R Moscow and Y&R Warsaw. Some of his current and past clients include Danone, P&G, Mars, Coca-Cola, Philips, Pepsi, Audi, J&J, Bayer, Visa and Mondelez.
Luis helped DDB Brazil to become Cyber Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions 2005 and DDB&Co Istanbul to reach the 3rd place as Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions 2009 - a first for Turkey at Cannes.
At BBDO Russia, he led a creative program that brought the agency to the 1st Place at the Russian Creative Ranking and won more than 320 awards, including the 1st Cannes Lions ever for BBDO Russia in 23 years. He presented a workshop at Cannes Lions and a seminar at Golden Drum Festival in 2012. Luis was ranked Top 5 Creative Director in the world according to Lürzer´s Archive magazine in 2013.
Since 2014, Luis joined Y&R as Executive Creative Director, working at Moscow and Warsaw.
Under his leadership, Y&R Moscow won its first Gold Lion ever and became the most awarded Russian agency at Cannes Lions 2015, with 5 metals. During his period as ECD, Y&R was #1 at the Russian Creative Ranking. Luis made the Polish office the Agency of the Year at Innovation Awards Poland and won a Bronze at Cannes Lions 2016. He helped to win clients like Lotos (oil company), X-Trade Brokers and Amazon.
His awards include Cannes Lions, Lions Innovation, One Show, One Show Interactive,Clio, Eurobest, Epica (GP), Effie, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Golden Drum (GP craft), Young Guns, ADC Europe, and the most prestigious Brazilian Festivals like Premio Abril, ANJ, Profissionais do Ano and CCSP.
Luis is a wine lover and planted a vineyard at the mountains of Brazil next to his hometown, where he is trying to produce (with no success so far) his own garage wine.
