Story | A couple is having sex on a bed draped with satin sheets. After a series of intense close-ups, the camera pulls back to reveal that they are not actually in a bed, but in a coffin. |
Philosophy | Speak to young people about the potential dangers of unprotected sex in an honest and hard-hitting language. Shot with four unprofessional actors (young modern dancers) on a closed set to convey the seductive quality of actual intimate contactand thus render the AIDS Awareness message more powerful. |
Problem | Address the increased indifference amongst young people to the spread of HIV/AIDS. Created for COCQ-Sida, a coalition of Québec community organizations fighting against AIDS. |
