Alcir Gomes Leite took over the presidency at DM9 in January of 2013, aiming to assure the creative and operational quality of one of the most awarded agencies in the country. Before taking over, along with Paulo Queiroz, he used to be the COO of the same agency where he started in 1995 as General Account Services Director, and was promoted to executive vice president in 2000.
During the time he dedicated to DM9, he contributed to important achievements. Among the highlights are: the 4 Agency of the Year titles, 2 GP’s and more than 100 Lions in Cannes, 6 Agency of the Year in the Caboré Award, 14 Professionals of the year and 20 Abril Advertising awards.
Internally, he was responsible for the implementation of DM9’s brand expansion plan in 2012 for the two highly relevant markets in Brazil: DM9Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil and DM9Rio in the state’s capital. They are independent agencies that carry the brand’s values and have been considered sacred Agencies of the Year in the Colunista Awards in their very first year.
With a degree in Math and a Bachelor’s in Business and Marketing, Leite is one of the most renowned account services and planning professionals in the market. 26 years of experience and three nominations for best account services professionals by Caboré Award.
