Philosophy | Since Musikhjälpen is all about requesting music, we created a song that a lot of people would want to request. Why? Because all these people would actually be in the song. On a website, you could record pieces of a new track by Hoffmaestro (a band very popular among teenagers), just using your computer mic. After two weeks of collecting recordings, we mixed all the sounds together, and released the song on radio and iTunes, for everyone to purchase or request. |
Problem | Each year, Swedish Public Radio hosts Musikjälpen. A show that lets you request songs for money, with every penny sent straight to charity. This year, Swedish Radio wanted to activate teenagers the weeks before Musikhjälpen started. And if we at the same time could raise some money, that wouldn’t hurt. |
