Bartek Klimaszewski always wanted to be a car journalist. He ended up as a copywriter. His advertising career started in 2004. At the age of 26 he arrived at DDB Warsaw for his internship. Fired from his first real job at LOWE after a month. For the next decade he worked for Ogilvy, Y&R and again Ogilvy. At the beginning of 2014 he moved to K2, Poland’s largest independent digital agency. Bartek says: “It was like being an intern again. But far better paid.”
Four years ago, Bartek joined McCann Worldgroup as a Creative Director.
He judged several festivals including KTR Polish Ad Club, PAPAYA Young Directors, Ad Black Sea and Golden Drum.
Bartek worked for clients such as Mastercard, Coca Cola, Opel, KFC, WWF, MetLife, LOT Polish Airlines, Santander, Orange and many more. During his career he won over 100 local and international honors and awards including KTR Polish Ad Club, Golden Drum, Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Effie, Eurobest, MIXX Awards.
