Story Time flies! JetBlue is already celebrating 15 years as a superior and groundbreaking airline. For a company that knows how to deliver a truly enjoyable experience for its customers, they wanted to provide their own Crewmembers with a 15th anniversary celebration to match. Proscenium and JetBlue teamed up to produce 10 anniversary parties all over the country, from Los Angeles, to Boston, to Puerto Rico.
Proscenium worked closely with JetBlue to develop and manage registration for more than 11,000 attendees, and venues were selected because of their built-in amusement elements. Dave & Buster’s, Boondocks Fun Centers, and Puerto Rico’s Villa Campestre proved to be the perfect sites to host very large parties.
Of course, the venues had so much to offer already, but we strove to produce events that rose above and beyond. JetBlue 15th Anniversary branding was incorporated throughout all the venues, and video screens became canvases for historical JetBlue montages and welcome videos from the executive team.
A roving iPad magician delighted and surprised attendees with special JetBlue tricks, like making an actual pair of kiddie wings appear right from the screen. The Jr. Crew kids’ area was a popular focal point for the young ones; they had JetBlue Twister, bean bag toss, and even custom coloring books and tattoos. And yes, in Puerto Rico, we even dyed a sheep blue...
At the end of each event, Crewmembers and their families left with arms full of JetBlue swag, blue cotton candy sugar on their faces, and most importantly, big smiles. These parties really soared!
