Story Create a 360 degree gig experience of Kasabian, to put fans on stage, back stage and in the crowd for their gig at the O2 Academy Brixton December 2014.
Problem The latest developments in virtual reality headsets, 360 degree filming and audio means that the medium of virtual reality will bring fans closer to the action of their favourite band or artist in an immersive and unique way. For the Kasabian in 360 gig Visualise placed 360 degree camera rigs in four positions to capture three viewpoints giving fans the chance to ‘be’ on stage with the band as well as experience the gig from the press pit and amongst the crowd. The experience was created and developed to be viewed in the Samsung Gear VR headset and we also built an HTML5 video player to allow users to experience the content on their browser, mobile device or tablet to reach a wider audience.
