André Petrini is an Art Director with over 11 years of creative experience. Born and raised in Curitiba/Brazil, he worked at the main agencies there, and since 2015 is responsible for the digital integration at Master, one of Brazil’s top 10 independent agencies.
In 2016, he was selected at the Young Lions Brazil competition, published a short stories book called Nebulosa, and started teaching innovation for advertising at Redhook Creativity School.
Prior to that, Petrini worked for 4 years at JWT Brazil as Creative Art Director where he led big digital projects, as Atletico Paranaense's website redesign (a Brazilian first league soccer team); the launch of Positivo Ypy (the first Brazilian tablet); the redesign of Bauducco's website (the largest panettone manufacturer in the world and largest manufacturer of baked goods in the country); and two annual campaigns for Mondellez Royal baking powder.
Over his career, he created for key clients, such as HSBC, Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica, Petrobras, Band-Aid, Reach, Tylenol, Mylanta, Listerine, Halls, Grupo Boticario, KitKat, and many more.
Experienced in both digital and traditional advertising, Petrini is passionate about every part of the creative process, specially the ideating and crafting stages. As a tech-savvy, he learned basic coding at young age, has great understanding of UX design, and he's always studying about emerging technologies. His focus is art direction, but he keeps a literature blog with friends, where they write short stories who are eventually collected and published in journals and books.
